Joining Glyndŵr University as a postgraduate student, you will enrol as a member of the Graduate School.

Our courses are driven by research and innovation within two Academic Institutes: the Institute for Arts, Science and Technology and the Institute for Health, Medical Science and Society. With this structure we are able to offer innovative courses by combining subject areas.

Within the field of science and technology, the University embraces three core areas: Engineering, Science, the Built & Natural Environment.

The University prides itself on the quality and employability of its graduates. The latest news is that Glyndŵr University is investing in a new £8 million Creative Industries building which will benefit science and technology students. It will be equipped with the latest high technology features and equipment and will further enhance what is already a stimulating and modern study environment for students.

Glyndŵr University has dedicated laboratories to support a number of different programmes in Engineering. All of the Engineering programmes feature practical work to back up theoretical content using the wide range of facilities available on campus.
 
The University's science research is recognised internationally through its centres for water soluble polymers, advanced materials, modern optics, solar energy, and hydrocolloids.
 
Glyndŵr University welcome applications for research degrees. The University offers MPhil (Master of Philosophy) and PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) qualifications. A postgraduate research degree allows you to undertake in-depth, independent study in a specific area.
