The school of Civil Engineering & Construction is based at the Penrhyn Campus. You will have the opportunity to link with industry throughout your course and many of the courses satisfy the requirements of the Engineering Council UK’s Standard for Professional Engineering Competence as a ‘period of further learning’ for registration as a Chartered Engineer.

• Extensive materials and structures facility for concrete, masonry, steel and timber.
• Geotechnical and hydraulics testing facilities.
• Surveying equipment, such as satellite global-positioning systems.
