Department of Engineering

The Department of Engineering at De Montfort University (DMU) has strong links with UK companies and institutions to ensure all engineering courses remain relevant to industry. Core electronic engineering courses have been accredited by the Institute of Engineering and Technology for 25 years. All courses offer a mix of practical and theoretical study, ensuring students graduate with the skills required for a successful career.

Technology graduates are extremely successful, and a number of graduating Electronic Engineering students have managed to publish their final year project work in peer-reviewed science and engineering journals. As a result, DMU's postgraduate courses are popular and offer many opportunities in engineering research at MPhil and PhD level.
