Mechatronics

DMU's MSc Mechatronics is the longest established and most successful specialist course (in the discipline) in the UK. The experienced and enthusiastic staff are engaged in ongoing, widely respected research which the course directly benefits from.

Mechatronics teaches a broad range of engineering practices to graduates with an electrical, electronic, mechanical, computer software engineering and physical science background. Modules include: electro mechanics, the mechantronic business environment, programming, software engineering, robotics and flexible automation. Using specialist facilities, students use their existing subject knowledge to learn a multidisciplinary mechatronic approach to use in solving a range of technological problems.
