Multimedia Production and Distribution

The modern world is driven by multimedia content delivered across a range of platforms such as mobile phones, personal video recorders and interactive television. This course has been designed to give you a firm grounding in skills required to support such content and delivery mechanisms with courses such as information management, mobile commerce systems and 3D graphics, specialising towards video production, virtual studio design, and multimedia systems. A strong emphasis is placed on hands-on expertise of practical techniques and transferability of skills throughout the course. Much of the practical work takes place at the professional TV studio located on campus.

Students graduating from this course will acquire the skills required for employment in the modern media, IT, software and business sectors.
