Wireless Communication Technologies

From telephone conversations, to internet and remote data access, video conferencing and other multimedia communications, every sector of society now employs wireless communication systems to disseminate and share data and information. With the growing demand and implementation of wireless communication systems, there is a developing need to educate engineers and specialists to provide the knowledge and expertise to underpin and understand these technologies and anticipate future technological trends. The programme is designed to be attractive to both graduates and industrial organisations with staff who wish to undertake further study and/or Continual Professional Development (CPD) studies within wireless technologies. Such CPD study may be taken on a part-time basis, or through specific attendance on individual or selected MSc modules to allow updating of specific skills. It is also intended that this MSc will meet the educational requirements for Chartered Engineers as specified by the UK-SPEC issued by the professional engineering bodies.
