Microelectronics and System-on-Chip Engineering
This course brings together core techniques and technologies that cover relevant developments in System-on-Chip design,including advanced concepts in the design of digital synchronous systems, FPGA specific techniques, fundamentals of on-chip communication and embedded buses and hardware/software co-design.
The curriculum is built around 6 learning modules which will provide both theoretical information and practical experience using commonly employed industrial tools. The key module topics are Microsystem and System-On-Chip Technology, Embedded System Design, Intelligent System Control, Real Time Systems, and Interfacing and Integration. Additionally, you will undertake a major individual project which allows you to extend your knowledge by exploring more fully an area of interest.
