Digital Imaging & Creative Visualisation - PG CERT
About Your Course
Imaging technology has recently undergone a dramatic revolution in the move from chemical technology to digital technology. This transition brings endless creative possibilities but also brings added ethical concerns. By exploring innovative photographic and advanced visual effects technologies, this course exploits the new versatility of the camera and hence the photographer. It offers tuition in a wide range of technologies including; image acquisition, image manipulation and composition techniques and high dynamic range and multiple image stitching techniques. It will also offer an insight into the history of images and imaging technology and an investigation of the technical, ethical, intellectual, and health and safety tools required by the modern digital image maker. You will extend digital image making beyond the purely photographic, dealing with advanced graphics, visualisation, interactive media, visual arts and live installations.
