Cranfield University
Health Operations
Commencement date: October
Duration of course: Full-time - one year. Part-time - up to three years.
Central to Health Operations is the identification of the clients’ (usually patients) needs and the design and delivery of a service that will effectively and efficiently meet those needs. Hospitals across the world are now embracing techniques in process, scheduling and resource management which have been widely used in manufacturing organisations for many years as a way of improving the patient experience and ultimately the patient outcome.
Cranfield Health’s MSc in Health Operations provides a thorough understanding of these techniques and their application within hospitals and other healthcare organisations. This enables students to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to overcome the complexity and challenges facing health organisations today.
Entry Requirements:
1st or 2nd class honours degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline such as a science or business and management. Where applicable, students must demonstrate competency in English, such as a minimum International English Language Testing System Score (IELTS) of 6.5 of Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 580. Our Academic Summer Programme offers pre-sessional training in English.
Professionals with work experience in a relevant field (in certain cases a blend of qualifications, motivation and relevant experience will be acceptable) are also invited to apply.
