Low-carbon energy
This part-time industry based course is designed for people in the public, private or voluntary sectors who are concerned with energy strategy or managing energy use. It is for people who want to improve things and make a difference, not simply analyse a deteriorating situation. If your job involves managing energy use in a business, school or hospital, advising policy makers at the local or national level or running campaigns about green issues, this could be the right course for you.
To benefit from the course you do not need to be an expert in energy technology but you will need a good level of numeracy and an understanding of scientific principles. A first degree in a scientific, technical or management subject could be a suitable background. The language of the course is English but it is not geographically specific and is highly appropriate for students from any EU country.
The MSc consists of 6 taught modules and an individual research project.
