Programme Description

Voice over IP & UC is concerned with the advanced knowledge and skills required to integrate IP telephony/unified communication solutions into underlying network architectures and includes an examination of the methods, techniques, tools and technologies used to develop such infrastructures.

The programme will produce graduates with the theoretical and practical skills necessary in the design, implementation and administration of a converged network infrastructure incorporating a Voice over IP and Unified Communication (VoIP&UC) solution. At the end of the course students will be able to design, build, implement and administer a converged network incorporating VoIP&UC solution that is transparent, scalable and manageable.
