Course content

This flexible masters programme allows you to choose from a range of modules in areas such as information systems, computing and creative technologies. You can design an individual programme of study tailored to your own specific areas of interest, prior experience and career aspirations. You will be given guidance on your module selection as they vary in their technical nature and practical or theoretical focus.

You can choose three modules for the postgraduate certificate, six modules for the postgraduate diploma and six modules plus the two core modules for the MSc.

  • Research practice
    Develops your awareness of the methods and skills which are required in order to carry out Masters level research successfully, and enables you to reflect critically on your own development in the context of your chosen programme of study.
  • Dissertation
    The dissertation provides you with the opportunity to engage in research and advanced scholarship in a subject area that is appropriate to your course but of your own choosing.

Entry requirements

All applicants should possess either an honours degree or a professional qualification or equivalent, significant work experience (typically a minimum of three years) with skills and knowledge comparable to those gained from an honours degree.
