Full and part-time students commence study in October.
Overview:
Over the past ten years, sports and leisure has been one of the fastest growing industries across Europe. Advances in sports surface engineering and technologies are required to cope with this increased activity, and there is an urgent need for multidisciplinary managers, advisors and consultants for sports surface management.
Cranfield University's Sports Surface Technology MSc by Research aims to provide you with an advanced theoretical and specialist understanding of the processes and practical tools necessary for effective sports turf management and to address real organisational problems in sports surface technology and management.
This course is suitable for graduates with science and engineering degrees keen to pursue careers in sports surface management; or high-achieving European students in the final year of a five-year diploma or on a three plus two year Masters programme; or graduates working in the sports surface industry keen to extend their qualifications.
Course Structure:
The 12 month intensive research project is the key element of the Sports Surface Technology MSc by Research and provides the opportunity to specialise in a particular area of study in line with students' career interests and aspirations.
Students attend a research training module and up to three other appropriate technical modules depending upon prior learning and project requirements.
