Military Vehicle Technology

Duration: 1 year FT, up to 5 years PT
Entry Requirements:
Normally a 1st or 2nd class UK honours degree (or equivalent) in engineering, mathematics, applied science or the professional equivalent. Our normal minimum requirement is a TOEFL score of 580 (paper test) or 237 (computer test), essay rating 4.5 or 92 (Internet test), all skills 19 or an IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 for writing, a TOEIC overall score of 830, or a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English grade C or Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English grade C, although a number of our programmes require higher scores.
Course Description:
Military Vehicle Technology course is designed to provide students with the principles of military vehicle technology. During the course, we make reference to specific vehicles only to illustrate these principles.
The course includes:
- study of advances in vehicle technology
- developing skills in the analysis and evaluation of new concepts against changes and developments in the threat
- user requirements needed to meet changing threat.
The course aims to cover all technological aspects of military fighting and logistic vehicles in depth, offers a degree of choice and specialisation to students having differing backgrounds, interests, or requirements, eg those of individual sponsors
