Entry Requirements:
Normally a 1st or 2nd class honours degree or relevant professional equivalent. Alternatively, a lesser qualification together with appropriate work experience may be acceptable. Our normal minimum requirement is a TOEFL score of 580 (paper test) or 237 (computer test), essay rating 4.5 or 92 (Internet test), all skills 19 or an IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 for writing, a TOEIC overall score of 830, or a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English grade C or Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English grade C, although a number of our programmes require higher scores.
Course Description:
Increased globalisation demands tough business decisions about how to develop markets, retain customers and manage stakeholder groups and product portfolios. This led to need for new knowledge and skills in understanding the environment and the ability to develop strategies that create a competitive advantage. This expertise is critical to maintain a strong UK defence industry, particularly in the face of a highly competitive global defence market.
The aims of the MSc are for participants to be able to develop and implement strategic international marketing plans and negotiate effective deals with a solid understanding of the defence industry and its environment.
