Entry Requirements:
Normally a 1st or 2nd class honours degree in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent. Alternatively, a lesser qualification together with appropriate work experience may be acceptable. Our normal minimum requirement is a TOEFL score of 580 (paper test) or 237 (computer test), essay rating 4.5 or 92 (Internet test), all skills 19 or an IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 for writing, a TOEIC overall score of 830, or a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English grade C or Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English grade C, although a number of our programmes require higher scores.
Course Description:
The Defence Acquisition Management MSc course assesses the practical application of the theories, concepts and analytical techniques to the modern, multinational defence acquisition and logistics management environment.
The course aims to improve individual and organisational effectiveness through advanced knowledge of key issues that enable enhanced decision-making .It also provides a unique capability, procurement, contracting, logistics and supply chain management qualification with a commercial 'best practice' focus.
A key feature of the course is the eligibility for the qualification of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and the Chartered Institute of Logistics (CILT) as an optional element.
